Kuching - Sarawak women hockey team is ready for the stiff challenges expected at the 19th Malaysia Games (Sukma XIX) in Perak when the competition starts on September 12 to 19 at Stadium Hoki Sultan Azlan Shah,  Kompleks Sukan MBI, Ipoh.

In Sukma hockey competition, Sarawak is in Group B and will be facing this year's host, Perak, Federal Territory, Selangor, Penang and Pahang while in Group A the teams are Melaka, Terengganu, Johor, Kedah and Sabah.

Sarawak women hockey team is to be represented by Cammelia Miecthiel Ak Endy, Shahrulrina Ak Entering, Suhaila Bt Sata, Leonney Suzye Ak Ronald, Vantorriyana Ak Piah, Olivia Ak William, Marion Ak Jarel, Elizaberth Epui Ak Martin, Kitty Rosa Ak Mick, Aznie Zulisha Bt Jaya, Shafirel Ak Raymond, Farra Narazeth Ak Entali (Gk), Felicity Candy Zaini  , Yusanani Ak Jeffery, Richel Ak Jubin, Siti Mardiana Bt Ahmad (Gk), Nur Basyiera Bt Ahad, Josephine Ak Angkun, Lucyana Natasha Ak Donny, Arrasheila Santih Ak Ali Baba, Eryline Payak Ak Jeffery Sulau,  Mariana Ak Felix, Azzfarzatul Fithrah Bt Suadi  and Corolia Diana Ak Ala.

The Assistant Chef-de-Mission (ACDM) for hockey is Datin Mary Saadiah while the team manager is Nellyana Ak Aling and the coach is Dangerouslee Mathew and Sri Sakrunathan A/L Subramaniam.
