Kuching - Sarawak contingent will participate in all 29 sporting events competed in the 19th Malaysia Games (Sukma XIX) in Perak, including the previously rare sport of 5-on-5 and 3-on-3 basketball, futsal, cricket and rugby.
The location where the events are to beheld is also interesting because it is located in 13 different district throughout of Perak. The official date of Sukma XIX Perak is on 11 to 22 September but there are sports that will begin earlier such as football, badminton, cricket and wushu.
THe 12 sports events which will be held in Ipoh are namely aquatics, sports and golf, badminton, wushu, trekking, basketball, gymnastics, gymnastics, hockey, field bowling, squash and 10-pin bowling.
Event which will be held outside Ipoh are football, martial arts, taekwando, shooting, archery, cruises, weightlifters, handball, netball, futsal, judo, karate, petanque, sepak takraw, boxing and wushu.
